685 First Avenue – Is one of the last works of Mr. Sheldon Solow - one of the greatest builders in New York - designed by architect Richard Meier. The project, 6,000 square meters of smooth, streamlined Roman Travertine were used, in particular for the wall cladding 12 meters high. The striking black glass exterior cladding is contrasted by the light colors of the Roman Travertine interior, creating unique chromatic effects. 685 First Avenue, located in a prime location in Manhattan in the Midtown East area. The characteristics of these new buildings are certainly the modern and luxurious design enriched by a strong predominance of Roman Travertine. Inside the hall of the structure stands a large facade made of Classic Roman Travertine and in all the apartments the material is used to enrich and give value to all the furnishings. Today, 685 First Avenue is considered one of the most exclusive residences in the city and projected to a new standard of luxury.
