Wilmar HQ Singapore Set on a lush greenery, Wilmar International's new office features amenities such as a large research laboratory, auditorium, café, gym and rooftop jogging track. Designed by Eric Parry Architects, the building has an organic shape and features multi-level landscaped terraces that provide a garden look from each office level. The building has been awarded the Green Gold Plus label for its energy consumption and responds to its tropical climate with passive cooling effects through the 2m continuous protruding fins that adorn each office floor. Made without aggressive pollutants and 100% recyclable, the fins provide shade to the facade by reducing solar gain and glare, while also protecting it from downpours. Landscape design promotes biological diversity of ecosystems, habitats, and butterfly conservation has been encouraged through habitat improvement and planting.
