Major project executed in 1938. Ara Pacis, from north to south, the Roman travertine is known throughout Italy. The city of Gorizia is well aware of this, paying homage to the fallen soldiers of all wars thanks to the monumental complex built. The building consists of a parking lot surrounded by an imposing travertine fence, the two sides are open in the center while the east side is made up of 14 pillars 13 meters high. The travertine used is the Classico Luisa.
